A majority of Marj's Naturals products are formulated and handmade by Marjorie, a Registered Nurse and Makeup Artist who is passionate about promoting health and natural ways of enhancing beauty. With several years of experience in cosmetics product development, Marjorie has the knowledge of the perfect ingredients that deliver expected results safely.

Each of her products is made with high quality ingredients that possess numerous exceptional health and beauty benefits including the richest beauty oils and butters, antioxidant-rich organic botanicals and fruit extracts, the finest essential oils from around the world, and other natural biodegradable ingredients. Every product is free of potentially harmful chemicals including parabens, sulfates, phthalates, petroleum, fragrance and DEAs, ensuring maximum safety and peace of mind for our clients. No product is ever tested on animals.

Infused with the finest essential oils, each of Marj's Naturals cleansing bars is handmade after a thorough research to come up with the the most luxurious and healthiest formulations. Gentle and junk free, these long lasting bars are safe to use as an effective exfoliating facial cleanser and as an all over body soap and even for shaving. Each type of bars has a light creamy pastel color as a result of the ingredients' natural colors. Some of the bars may have very minimal soap colorant for aesthetics.

Variations in color are a unique nature of these handmade natural products. Marj's Naturals cleansing bars are made of antioxidant rich vegetable based ingredients that are nourishing, healing, moisturizing, rejuvenating, skin hydrating and conditioning. They are all SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) free but they still provide a creamy lather that leaves your skin feeling clean, soft and silky. Essential oils, fruit extracts, botanical extracts, butters and other ingredients such as pure Organic Moroccan Argan Oil and Organic Virgin Coconut Oil provide a subtle aromatic scent that is both soothing and relaxing.

Cocoa Butter

Cocoa Butter is one of the most highly concentrated and stable fats available and has been used for thousands of years in skin care items and of course, chocolate. The benefits of cocoa butter for preventing bad stretch marks during pregnancy are well-known. The Vitamin E in cocoa butter promotes the skin's elasticity, minimizing the formation and appearance of scar tissue. Also, cocoa butter contains cocoa mass polyphenol or CMP which helps stop production of immunoglobulin that worsens inflammatory skin conditions like eczema.

Grape Seed Butter

Grape Seed Butter is obtained by cold pressing select grape seeds followed by a rigorous refining process. The result is a creamy, refined, yellowish green butter that is rich in antioxidant Vitamins C and E, and Beta Carotene. Also rich in linoleic acid - an important essential fatty acid for the cellular skin and membranes, Grape Seed butter has regenerating, hydrating and restructuring properties, making it ideal in treating mature, stressed, damaged or dry skin. It also has excellent emollient and film forming properties thereby promoting great spreadability on the skin.

Shea Butter

Shea Butter is rich in fatty acids including oleic, stearic, palmitic, arachidic and linolenic acids that help heal and protect the skin and lock in moisture. It has a buttery texture which is easily absorbed into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. Shea butter has anti-inflammatory properties and is rich in antioxidant vitamins A and E and catechins which are proven to help prevent and treat skin damage from ultraviolet radiation. It also contains vitamins D and F. Shea butter is not only used as a moisturizer to reduce the appearance of fine lines, scars and stretch marks but also to effectively and safely treat common skin ailments like burns, insect bites, diaper rash, eczema and psoriasis. Its consistency is dependent on location of production.

Mango Butter

Mango Butter is a soft, creamy butter that has a mild pleasant scent and is highly emollient, softening, moisturizing and soothing to the skin. It is rich in antioxidant vitamins A and C that have protective effects against ultraviolet rays. It helps to treat dryness, itching, small wounds, skin rash, eczema, dermatitis, insect bites, poison ivy, and blemishes. Mango butter can also help to minimize stretch marks during pregnancy, promote healthy rejuvenated skin, and fight off fine lines and wrinkles.
